Cubs
5Th Woodley have two Cub packs.
· Wasps meet on Tuesdays 7:00 pm to 8:30pm
· Hornets meet on Thursdays , 7:00pm to 8:30pm
Beavers move up to the Cub packs when they are 8 years old. They can join either Cub pack, whichever is the more convenient for them. As a Cub Scout the children will get a chance to try lots of different activities like swimming, music, exploring, computing and collecting. Cub Scouts also get to go on trips and days out, to places like the zoo, theme parks or a farm, including going camping; this will mean you sleeping in a tent and doing loads of outdoor activities. The Cub Scout programme is delivered using many methods to make meetings more interesting and to provide variety for the Cub Scouts. These methods are classed as Games, Making things, Singing, stories and drama, Visits and visitors, Outdoors, Activities with others, Helping other people, Themes, Prayer, worship and reflection, Team challenges and Trying new things. Programme This terms programme can be emailed to you by the Cub Scout Leader for Wasps or Hornets.
