5th Woodley Scout Group raise over £727.17 at the 12th Woodley Winter Extravaganza!!
















5th Woodley is of the largest Scout Groups in the district with two thriving Beaver Colonies, two Cub Packs and a Scout Troop. In all, we have over 150 members and 17 warranted leaders. We hope to have a new Scout Troop starting up soon, and we will let you know when we have more news.

When you join the Scout Group, your leader will provide you with information via email and handouts, but it is useful to bookmark this website if you want to find out information about us quickly.

Scouting is for boys and girls and we currently have vacancies in our Cub Packs so if your child is aged between 8 and 10 1/2  please contact us and they can visit us on a meeting night to try our Scouting before you have to buy a uniform.

Text Box: NEWS Text Box: Woodley Winter Extravaganza 2008 We raised over £725 at the event on Sunday 23rd November. Thank you to everyone involved and to all our customers. Yet again 5th Woodley comes together in the real community spirit that Scouting is all about.

Woodley Carnival 2008

Scouting is run by volunteers. We can run more Beaver/Cub/Scout meetings if we have more leaders and we are always need new helpers as people move on.  If you would like to help no scouting experience is necessary—you can learn as you go along. And if you are an ex-Scouter who yearns for the outdoor life and “eggy bread” again and would like to help then please get in touch.
